Cavallino Magazine

Firstly issued in September/October 1978, the bimonthly Cavallino magazine was founded by John Barnes. The cars depicted in the magazine are always indicated with their chassis number, adding an enormous value to it and ensuing the relevance of the magazine itself. In over 40 years of history, Cavallino magazine is a review totally dedicated to Ferraris!”

Cavallino Classic

A keynote of the Cavallino Classic is the rigorous judging of the automobiles, for correctness and originality, preserved or restored to the way they left the manufacturer.

The judges are invited from the USA and Europe and are noted worldwide for their knowledge and expertise.

To win a Major Award at Cavallino is therefore an accomplishment and to win the Best of Show makes the winning car eligible for the The Peninsula Hotels Best of the Best Classic Award, from the Best of Shows from only eight of the finest Concours in the world.

Cavallino Classic was part of the Best of the Best since the beginning.

In February 2020 the Cavallino Best of Show 1954 750 Monza Prototype from Tom Peck won the Best of the Best Award. It is the third time that the car winning the Best of Show at Cavallino is honored with this prestigious award.

In 2012 Cavallino won with the Best of Show 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO and in 2019 with the 1958 Ferrari 355 Sport, making it with 2020 award, two years in a row success.
